I am working on a ground up restoration of a 1926 Star 4 Coupster, built in Leaside Ontario. The body serial is T-350831, model M. The engine is a Continental W5A 359644. A casing on the block and head says W5A 600G.
The final painting of the body and running gear is now in process, and will be complete by Christmas 2002. For the color information I used a book entitled "HANDBOOK OF AUTOMOBILES 1925" put out by the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce, 366 Madison Ave. New York, USA. International Standard Book Number is 0-486-22690-5 and the Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is 73-41893. On page 54 it shows a Star Four Coupster and gives lot of specifications. The color is listed a "Royal Blue, gold stripe, black running gear, nickel radiator shell". That is how I have painted my Star.
There are several small parts that I am looking for yet. If you think you can help me with some (horn button, rad cap, door latches, hood latches, window slide guide right side) please let me know.
